ESOL classes are a great opportunity for individuals to learn English and gain a qualification. It is for people who do not speak English as their first language. Classes cover speaking and listening, reading and writing and are very supportive with tutors and learners working together to improve language skills. The sessions are planned around real situations and themes around the promotion of British values such as finding a job, speaking at work, your home and community, health, travel, citizenship and cultural celebrations.
There will be a range of teaching methods, including working in groups and pairs with learners from different cultures. Our main aim is to make learning fun. You will be able to use a lot of different resources such as pictures, books, games, CDs, videos, computers, iPads and digital cameras. You will use resources that meet your individual needs.
