Meeting Place is a Christian drop-in Centre. It's a registered charity, started by members of Holy Trinity Church in 1983 and in 2008 it was given the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. Our aim is to offer friendship, build relationships, provide food and drink at a nominal charge and share our Christian faith. We try to keep a family atmosphere, where people feel accepted and secure.

Our visitors are tremendously varied and all ages. Many are lonely and live in their own in bedsits. Some feel very insecure and need to be given a feeling of worth. A few are homeless and sleeping rough, but they all need a place that feels safe and caring. We open on Tuesday evenings between 6:30pm and 9:00pm. -we welcome all who come and provide a place of peace where they can meet other people, share their troubles and joys, enjoy a warm drink and a meal, and if they wish, they can join in a short time of worship and prayer.
